Euro-American Divorce

It's nearly decided: We divorce. This or in a similar way economic news published DaimlerChrysler's split, DaimlerChrysler will be no more DaimlerChrysler. Once, what was named by former DaimlerBenz's CEO a "Welt AG" (World Stock Company) will be no more a transatlantic venture. The final day on which DaimlerChrysler will be no more is yet to be decided, but as usual this divorce will be expensive! Financial Times Germany expects that this year Stuttgart will have at least 3-4 Bil. Euros less in their Budget. But even with this imense loss, Daimler will win, since it gets rid of a "dead weight" on their aims to fly higher.
As usual when partners split, not all connections will be broken, a minor part (about 20%) of Chrysler will remain in Daimler's Hands, possibly remembering that bigger isn't always better ;-).
One issue that now keep forums open are the new name of the now "European AG". Keeping it's former maiden name "Daimler-Benz" or creating a totally new name.
My suggestion: DaimlerExChrysler.
